History:

1932

THE VERY BEGINNING

The company's roots go as far back as 1932, when Vinko Arh started the first carpentry workshop in Leskovec. What started out as a strong passion of woodworking soon began to evolve into a family business for the future. The joy and love of wood shaping have led to the creation of great opportunities for gaining knowledge on different types of projects, mastering the true craftsmanship over the years and passing it on to the next generation.

2002

HISTORY AND YEARS OF GROWTH

Joinery and fine furniture making have been an essential part of the Arh family for as many as four generations. Inspired by tradition and new ideas, Igor Arh established METALIKA, a company specializing in the production of a wide range of marine vessel interiors from day one.

2004

In early 2003, Metalika launched its own furniture production. At the end of 2004, we relocated to our current premises in Sevnica. The move to the new location, with 3000+ m2 of land, workshop and office space, and increase in the number of employees took place over a very short period of time.

2008–2010

Metalika was among the first in Slovenia to use the Lean Factory CNC technology and 3D design engineering and visualisation software, which allows us to be even more flexible, provide better quality and deliver faster turnaround times compared to our competitors.

2017 

In 2017, we expanded our production facilities and painted them in our signature blue and orange colours. We have acquired an additional 1,000m2 of production space, where we can assemble the interiors for individual yacht spaces in full size to make absolutely sure all the components fit together perfectly.

2022 

2022 is a festive year for us as we mark the 20th anniversary of the Metalika brand. In recent years, we have started implementing Industry 4.0, which is opening up a wealth of new opportunities and technologies for our company to become even better in meeting our customers' requirements. Drawing from our extensive expertise and experience, we have developed the Nautilus Pod, a new revolutionary sleeping pod for the marine industry.
